So far this edition of Copa Del Rey is not the best one in my betting career. I did a mistake when picked yesterday Bilbao against Caja Laboral and was punished. Caja showed its class, its cup mentality and again proved that Bilbao this year is far far away from the top level in Spain.

Tonight we have 2 semifinals where nothing is going to be easy again in bettering purposes.

Barcelona - Pamesa Valencia

Honestly speaking I expected 12-15 points victory for Barcelona in Valencia but they lost that game. This game will show the real difference between these clubs. I think that this is big difference. Maybe I am wrong but I expect a very very tough evening for Pamesa offense tonight. They are not very creative team and mostly relies on individual performance, shooting and offensive rebounding. And everything should be blocked by Barcelona defense if it will reappear after day off with Cajasol.

In 10 last games Valencia only 2 times managed to score more than 67 points against Barcelona. Expect this trend to continue today when Barcelona will try to revenge for loss in Valencia at the end of January. I don't know how many points Barcelona will score but they should not allow more than 65 points. Pamesa simply does not know how to play in offense against Barca.

Caja L - Real Madrid

My simpaties are on Caja L side in this pair because they looks more energized for this cup but I can't ignore fact that 2 players (Teletovic and San Emeterio) can't win games on constant basis. It was a good shooting evening for Tau yesterday and they won because of it, however they had a lot of problems with penetration and scoring points in half court games. Those killing 3-pointers helped a lot but there is no quarantee that the same weapons will be on fire against Real.

Real on other side still now showing something spectacular. Somehow they win games, sometimes they lose them and looks like even Messina does not know what to expect from his players in any given night. But his team like transformer can adopt to any difficulties during a game and sooner or later Messina finds a joker which wins a game. Yesterday it was Lull with 29 points. Today it can be any other player.

If Caja L would be in better form I would pick them here because value is on their side. But right now I prefer to stay way from this game.
