Los Angeles Sparks vs. Connecticut Sun
I think that Sparks offensive skills are underestimated here. They scored 68 and 69 points in last 2 home games witn Phoenix and Detroit but failed to score 13 points in 4th quarter. Against Sun it should be an easier task because they are not great defensive team and likes to run. I expect this game to end around 158-163. At least for me 82.5-76 looks much more fair than 79.5-74. Pick: over 152.5 |

 VS.  Minnesota Lynx vs Sacramento Monarchs
The Western Conference-leading Lynx will try to secure their fourth win in five games at the Target Center on Thursday as they face the Monarchs, who have won 11 of the teams' last 12 meetings and each of the last five matchups in Minneapolis. After opening the year with five straight victories, Minnesota (6-2) has dropped two of its last three games, with both losses coming to East-leading Connecticut. The Lynx fell 75-66 at home Tuesday for its second defeat to the Sun in four days.
The venue, though, hasn't mattered in matchups between the Western Conference rivals as the Monarchs (4-4) hold a 21-11 advantage in the all-time series after winning three of four meetings against the Lynx last season. But it was Minnesota that came away with a 78-73 victory in Sacramento on July 29 in the teams' most recent matchup. It was the Lynx's first win in 12 meetings with the Monarchs since beating them at home nearly four years ago. |

LA Lakers vs. Boston Celtics Los Angeles' boss was referring to the huge imbalance in free-throw attempts between his club and the Boston Celtics in Game 2 of the NBA finals.He could have been talking about the Lakers.An overwhelming favorite to win the series, the Western Conference champions haven't shown up yet. Except for an eight-minute spurt in the fourth quarter on Sunday night, they've been outplayed by the Celtics and now must win four of the next five games to capture their 15th title in this matchup of the league's two signature franchises.On Monday, the Lakers came back home. They had better hope its still sweet. |

Connecticut Sun vs. Washington Mystics Mystics ruined my pick 2 days ago with 22 turnovers and 20/60 shooting night in game with Silver Stars but I will try against to rely on their offense because I still think that this capable of scoring over 70 points to open-minded teams like Connecticut Suns. Both teams have pretty strong starting fives and Mystics in last game allowed to play first minuted for C.Smith who should help them on point guard position. Connecticut offense is one of the best in the WNBA with 85.5 per game in 6 games (except one with Indiana at home when they had nightmare evening which will never happen again). |

Due the lack of time I can't write detailed preview so will post only picks with short comments for each. Chicago Sky @ Atlanta Dream
Chicago will play without their key-player center S.Fowles and I hardly see them 5.5 favorites in Atlanta which is improving lately. I see Atlanta as favorite of this game or at least 2.5-3 points underdogs. Perfect chance for Dream to get their first season win. Pick: Atlanta +5.5 @ 1.97 PinnacleSports |
