Germany squad has good 3 point range shooting ability, in last 2 games they scored 15 of 35 shots from 3 points line. And if we would not take their first game when they scored only 45 points against Belgium because of poor shooting from 3 points line (1 of 15 shots) they have average scoring is about 71.5 points. But even this average should be corrected a bit because in their second game they had quarter when they scored 36 points, I doubt they will be able to repeat such quarter and in last game they scored only 8 points against strong Italian defense and that was the only quarter when they scored 8 points. So probably more correct average scoring ability should be about 66 points. Talking about Germany defense it's difficult to talk about their defense. In average they are allowing 55.5 points but I don't know what happened with Italy in their last game when they scored only 2 points in first 4 minutes of the game and only 7 points in last quarter. During others 26 minutes Italians scored 1.7 points per minute. If they would be able to play on this level all match they would score about 68 points. In first game German team also allowed 62 points. So in my opinion real Germany defensive ability is about 59-61 points while possible scoring is about 66.5 points. Bulgaria played in a low scoring group with Greece and Finland teams but even playing with them they allowed more than 50 points and there were 3 quarters with those low scoring teams (Finland and Greece) when they scored less than 10 points. Besides those quarters in other 5 quarters they allowed about 16 points. In first with Czechs they allowed 60 points. So for their average defensive index is a little bit higher that their current of average 55 points. I think that's more correct should be about 58-61 per game. Talking about Bulgaria attack I think that they have all abilities to score more 60 points because if we would take their best (25 points) and poorest quarter (8 points) their average of 10 played quarters will be 16.1 points/quarter or 64.5 per game. So as conclusion of this game review I have to say that both teams have all chances to score more than 60 points but I don't expect that any of the team will score more than 70 points. And looking into their result it looks like this team like scoring and allow their rivals to score too. Spanish team is also a team capable to score at least 65 points. They have 6 players who can shoot the ball from 3 points line and that fact they have scored 70 points in average is telling a lot about their offensive power. So in this game I expect to see quite high scoring match and both team will be able to score more than 140 points. Finland is the outsider of this tournament. Yes, they won against Greece but that's surprise even for Finland squad. Italy were one of the favorites in their qualification group but unexpected loss to Belgium and slipped win against Germany when they liquidate -14 advantage.. But in 4th quarter they scored only 8 points. Italy has strong opponents in 9-16 places classification round Turkey and Ukraine so they have to win with big HC to get advantage against other teams in case of level points at the end of group stage.
