Well today we have big day in WNBA championship with 7 games. It will take too much time to write detailed write-up for all games so I'll try to review each game where I don't see good bet in short and other games where we can do some profit I will review in more detailed way. I will start my betting review from confident plays and finish with no bet games. Charlotte Sting (8-19) at Washington Mystics (14-13)
Sport Book Line: Washington -6.5 TOTAL: 154 Only 7 games left in regular season and Charlotte have 6 wins less that Washington. This game had to be a key game for Charlotte postseason hopes but they have experienced 2 unexpected losses to Minnesota and NY last night. And those losses have killed all their real chances to clinch a playoff spot. Their mentality should be broken today because there is no chance to win all left 7 games and expect that Washington will lose all 7 games starting from today's game.
Washington goes in complete different way. They won against Chicago at home 89-74 and won against Indiana away last night 74-67. And both wins were fully deserved because of great team chemistry and performance. By winning today they will clinch a play off spot and this is a great motivation sign as for me.
I already talked about Washington winning mentality at home and their average so I would repeat again all those thoughts. I expect the same or even better performance from Washington like they had with Chicago 3 days ago. I expect them to score 85+ points while Charlotte is scoring 77 points in average in last 8 games and Washington allows 76 at home. So a final conclusion. I expect that Washington will continue their winning strike by trashing Charlotte today and getting an official playoff ticket. But the main reason of such low scoring is a opponents factor. They have played with Sacramento, Houston, Charlotte and Chicago. All those teams are defensive minded and had motivation in those games. Today Minnesota will play against not-motivated team which is in good form and like open-style game. Minnesota is still have troubles in defence and allowing 82.4 points in 9 of last 10 games. NY allowed 70+ points in last 10 games so I think that this game should be more open and their first game which ended NY win 93-83 is a good sign to play over again while line is affected by poor Minnesota performance in last 5 games. Sport Book Line: Sacramento -3 TOTAL: 141 Sacramento is home team and knows how to win against Detroit. And now they have a revenge factor after Wednesday loss 71-91 away. The only trouble I see here is that Sacramento should remember about their defence today and control boards because this is their only chance to win a game, but for some reason I think that they will get it in hard battle. Sports Book line: Phoenix -3.5 TOTAL: 159 This is a public game where public expects Phoenix revenge and their playoff chances resurrection. But there is rule in basketball that defence wins a game and in this match the only team which really know what word defence means is a Houston side which had 14 points difference in first match. But this is probably a key game for Phoenix and I expect their leaders to be on top today. But talking about their chances to win a game it's difficult to say what to expect. I think that Phoenix will win but I am not so sure to bet on them today because Houston are also in must-win situation but they don't have that psychological pressing today.
