Very important match for both teams. It is still uknown if Haislip will be with team on the court and this loss could cost Unicaja too much in this game. CSKA finally started to play at their level since Smodis returned into the roster in last EL game. Siskauskas finaly was good, Papas at his best level, Zizis also looked good in last matches in Russian Superleague, only Langdon is far from his best conditions right now. But in general CSKA offense & defense was very good in last few matches.

But I think that we still have a pick for this game. I don't remember when bookmakers set 140.5 total for CSKA home game. I agree that their results forced them to switch their records from usual 146-148.5 points line down to 140 pts line but is it correct? Unicaja this season scored more than 60 points in every game. I will repeat they did score 60+ points in every game this year. However 65 points on Unicaja looks more or less fair but even such teams as Olimpija and Prokom had 67-69.5 pts total in Moscow. I think that Unicaja have really good chances to score in the 63-69 pts range because usually CSKA limit their opponents in this range. In last 3 games they started very strong with 25-28 points in first quarter and 2nd quarter was high scoring for them too. They take control over the game in first half and will try to repeat this scenario today.

Prediction: CSKA will be a dominating on the field in the first half. A lot will depend on their current form but I feel that this game have 2 scenarios. CSKA win by 14+ pts smth like 82-66 or Unicaja will make this game close in 2nd half and final score will be more usual for CSKA home games 75-67. Lietuvos Rytas Vilnius - Fenerbahce Ulker

Very important game for Lietuvos Rytas. Probably most important game of the season because win here by more than 4 points can lead them directly to quarterfinals. There is no sense to speak about motivation so I will speak about chances to cover handicap. Honestly speaking handicap is very solid because Fener is very dangerous team in offense and if they will score 76-78 points Rytas will meet huge problems to cover handicap. Defense is the key for Rytas and I expect them to defend very very strong today. In my opinion Fenerbahce offense is quite easy to stop if Solomon is not superhot.

As for the pick I think that we have 2 logical picks. First is Rytas match handicap because if Rytas will win this game I think this should be confident win by 9-15 pts at least because revenge & situational & home factor are on our side as well good Rytas form. Another good pick in my opionion is Rytas to cover handicap in first half. They starts very strong usually and will try to repeat this today and with mad Siemens Arena aura this should be done quite easy.

Lottomatica Roma - AXA FC Barcelona
Hehe.. public is on Barcelona here but I hold Roma as favorite to win this game. They still have real chances to promote. They have good roster, they already won against Barca away from home and I see no reasons to be them underdogs here except standings. Barcelona is not so stable team away from home but they are one of the most unpredictable teams for me in Europe. So I will stay away from this game.

Tau - Aris
Typical nobet game. Not motivated big club against motivated but weak opponents. Most probably Tau again will win but I can't predict scenario for this game.
