    Dynamo Moscow continued to strengthen their roster. One day after signing Artur Urazmanov (186-G-87) the team landed Victor Keyru (200-G-84). The 26-year-old guard spent the previous season in CSKA. He tallied 1.8 points per game in VTB League. In Euroleague Victor Keyru notched 1.6 points per appearance. In Russian Superleague his stats read 1.3 points per game. Victor Keyru used to play for Unics Kazan, Dynamo Saint Petersburg, Spartak Primorie.

He arrives to Spain from the Greek outfit DASH Peristeri Athens. Neson spent the pre-season with Utah Jazz and in December moved to Peristeri, where he averaged 8.1 points, 4 rebounds and 1.3 assists for 21 games. He notched 4.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per game in ACB. Later he was sent to Caceres 2016 in LEB Gold. Kaspars Berzins averaged 6.7 points and 3.7 rebounds per LEB Gold appearance. Kaspars Berzins used to play in Skonto (then Barons/LMT Riga) in Latvia

    Spartak Saint Petersburg ensured the services of Stephane Lasme (203-F-82, college: Massachusetts) for the next two seasons. The 27-year-old Gabonese forward arrives to Russia from Israel. Stephane Lasme spent the previous season in Maccabi Tel-Aviv. He tallied 8.8 points, 4.5 boards and 1.7 blocks per appearance in Israeli League. In Euroleague the forward notched 6.5 points, 4.4 boards, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steal per game.




  • Cedevita adds Aaron Pettway to a one-year contract

    Cedevita announced signing of a one-year deal with Aaron Pettway (211-C-80, agency: Hart Sports Mngm, college: Oklahoma St.). The American center is coming to Croatian outfit from Dnipro Dnepropetrovsk, where he spent second half of the 2009/10 season. For 16 games in Ukrainian Superleague, Pettway collected 10.8 ppg, 7.8 rpg and 1.5 bpg. He ended the contest as the fifth best rebounder. Aaron Pettway moved to Dnepropetrovsk from Venstpils in February last year

    Belgacom Liege Basket improved its backcourt for the upcoming Eurocup Qualifying Round by inking guard Michael Jenkins (191-G-86, college: Winthrop) to a one-year deal. The American is moving to Belgium finalist from Walter Tigers Tuebingen, where he spent last season. He appeared 34 times in 1.Bundesliga collecting 14 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 2.3 apg and 1.9 spg. Season 2008/09 Michael Jenkins started with the NBDL team Albany Patrons. In February, he moved to Montenegrin outfit Buducnost Podgorica

    Cajasol kept getting ready for its Eurocup debut by reaching a new agreement with playmaker Earl Calloway (191-G-83, college: Indiana) until the end of the 2011-12 season, the club informed Friday. The 26-year old American arrived to Cajasol last summer from Cibona Zagreb. He played 36 games in ACB registering 9.4 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 4.2 apg. Calloway ended the championship as the fifth best assistant. Cajasol made a great result by reaching the ACB Playoffs and a spot for EuroCup 2010/11 season

    Spartak Saint Petersburg boosted their backcourt. They added Anton Ponkrashov (200-G-86) to the roster. The 24-year-old guard spent the last season in CSKA. He averaged 2.9 points and 1.2 boards per Euroleague game. In VTB-League Anton Ponkrashov delivered 5.2 points, 1.3 boards and 1.0 assist per appearance. In Superleague the guards stats read 4.4 points, 1.3 boards and 1.7 assists. Anton Ponkrashov is actually returning to Saint Petersburg. The guard played here in 2002/2006 seasons

    Asefa Estudiantes has reached a new agreement with head coach Luis Casimiro to extend his contract until the end of the 2011-12 season, the club announced Wednesday. Casimiro, age 50, arrived to Estudiantes in summer 2008 and led the team to reach the Spanish League playoffs last season. He has also coached several other elite Spanish teams such as Fuenlabrada, Alicante, Valladolid, Valencia, Caceres, Gijon and Manresa, as well as leading Don Benito and Gandia earlier in his career

He appeared in just six games tallying 8.2 points and 2.0 rebounds. Earlier Nikita Shabalkin had spells for CSKA Moscow, CSK-VVS Samara and Khimky.

    Eurocup newcomer Krasnie Krylia remained busy over the weekend by signing veteran forward Artem Kuzyakin (202-G-80), the clubs fourth transaction of the week. Kuzyakin arrives from Unics Kazan, where he averaged 2.7 points in seven Eurocup games last season two of them as starters. He improved to 5.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per game in the Russian League. Last season was Kuzyakins third in the Eurocup. He grew up at Baltyskaia Zvezda St. Petersburg and has also played for Spartak St

    Spartak SP landed Petar Popovic (211-C-79). The Russian team signed a one-year deal with the 30-year-old centre. Last season Petar Popovic played in Spain. He averaged 8.1 points and 2.9 rebounds per game for Estudiantes. Previously the centre had spells for Crvena Zvezda, Hemofarm, Benetton Treviso, Joventut. Petar Popovic played for the Yugoslavian University National Team back in 2001.

He tallied 12.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.8 steals per game in the Premier League. In EuroCup the forward notched 12.4 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.4 steals per appearance.

    The teams that will participate in the 2010-11 Eurocup were presented at a meeting of the Euroleague Commercial Assetts Board. A total of 32 teams will play in the Eurocup regular season. The field will be made up of 10 direct qualifiers, 14 other teams that come from the Euroleague qualifying rounds and 8 more that win their way into the competition from the Eurocup qualifying rounds

The 25-year old American is coming to Italy from Turkish team Pinar Karsiyaka SK Izmir. He appeared 33 times in TBL last season averaging 16.7 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists. Toolson joined the team last summer and for very short time became one of their best players. It is important to mention that last season was Toolson s first one as a pro

Sergey Bazarevich took over in Dynamo Moscow back in April 2008. Last season head coach led his team to the EuroCup quarterfinals, Russian Cup Final and Russian Superleague semis. Before Dynamo Sergey Bazarevich worked with CSKA Moscow junior team, CSK VVS Samara and Russian U20 National Team.
