The 28-year-old guard spent the previous season in Israel. Chester Simmons played for Jerusalem averaging 12.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.1 steals per Israeli league game. In EuroCup the guard tallied 13.6 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals per appearance

    C.B. Gran Canaria 2014 added to their roster 24-year-old American-Georgian guard Taurean Green (183-G-85, college: Florida). Taurean Green was drafted in the second round, 52nd overall, by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2007 NBA Draft. In his first year with the Blazers, Green was sent to the Blazers' development league affiliate Idaho Stampede on December 9, 2007, and was recalled on the 22nd

Izmir side who also added Jerome Randle from California, strengthened their roster with another great talent from college basketball. Coleman who became the top scorer of NCAA Division 1 by averaging 25.6 points, will help the Turkish team on their 2010-2011 campaign.   • European Championships U16 - Division C. Day 3 in Andorra

    Group A Scotland U16 Andorra U16 76:71 Scottish U16 team posted the third straight victory at the European Championship in Division C. They snapped Andorra winning streak and won the preliminary Group A. Andorra finished second at 2-1 record as both teams made into the semifinal stage. Scotland will take on San Marino, while Andorra will face Cyprus for two spots available in the Final. Scotland jumped to a 10:2 lead early in the game

    Montenegro U18 - Israel U18 75:70 Montenegro clinched the top spot at the U18 European Championship Qualifying Round Group F. The Balkan side outgunned Israel to remain unbeaten at the tournament. Radosav Spasojevic (204-F-92) stepped up with 26 points and 6 rebounds to pace Montenegro. Both Montenegro and Israel reached the semifinal stage. Israel jumped to a 7:2 lead early in the game. But Montenegro quickly rebounded and recorded an 18:13 advantage

    According to the Israeli press, Israeli basketball empire, Maccabi Electra Tel-Aviv made a very generous offer to the former Houston Rockets and Toronto Raptors NBA player, Pops Mensah-Bonsu  (206-F-83, agency: SportsTalent, college: George Washington). It is reported that Maccabi has offered  the Great Britain center $500.000 dollars for the coming season. Mensah-Bonsu was released by his last European team, CSKA Moscow just over a month ago

Karadzic thinks that Labovic will be very useful for Krasnoyarsk because he can play both PF and C, scores much (Adriatic League-09 top scorer with 18.0ppg) and overall is a young and perspective player. Last season Dragan began with FMP Zeleznik, but financial problems forced him to leave Serbia and join Aris in January

This will be his 7th season in Germany. The club has not announced it yet, but Jordan has reported on his facebook page that he will play in Weissenfels this season

Alkar Sinj signed Ante Delas (201-G/F-88). He started last season in Split, but after 3 rounds moved to for Trogir where he averaged 9.5ppg, 3.8rpg, 1.4apg.

Eduardo Guimaraes (185-G-92) and Miguel Cardoso (182-G-93) knocked down three free throws in the dying stages of regulation to propel Portugal to a tough win in Group I of the classification round. Artur Castela (200-C-93) stepped up with 14 points and 13 rebounds for Portugal as they improved at 2-0 record in Group I
