We have two top games tonight in Lithuania and Greece. I know that you want to hear from me winning picks but today there will be no picks. And the reason of course pretty well set lines.
Zalgiris - Real Madrid
It was quite easy to decide about this match for me. I would back any team here with +5 spread. So logicaly pk line is fair for me and we have +2 on the hosts here. So I am closer to Zalgiris side here but not enough value to call it as official bet.
Zalgiris looking well again, they are extremely motivated to revenge for that loss in Madrid and dirty games Real played there to obtain so needed result. But is that enough to back Zalgiris? For me no. But surely if I would go to arena I would put some money on Zalgiris victory. The true story about these teams that Zalgiris needs to show its A-level game and hope that Real will play their B-level this evening. In all other possibilities Zalgiris will lose.
As for the total is is hard to set right estimation because both teams can play good defense and offense. And game pace is hard to estimate here, because at home Zalgiris can accept high paced basketball which Real like to dictate. It is better to wait and see how game is developing here before deciding with over/under bet.
If you want to support Zalgiris do it, but don't risk your money here. That's my advice for this match.
Olympiacos - Barcelona
In a rematch of last season's Euroleague semifinals, Olympiacos Piraeus takes on FC Barcelona Regal in the Game of the Week in Top 16 Group F on Thursday. Barcelona leads Group F with an 8-1 record and Olympiacos ranks third at 6-3, which adds even more excitement to this great showdown. When the teams met in Top 16 Week 3, Barcelona beat Olympiacos 76-68 behind 15 points from Ante Tomic, who was chosen this week as the bwin MVP for February.
Olympiacos as for me is the same calibre team as Khimki. I expected to see Olympiacos as a dog with 2-3.5 points spread and with such estimation Barceloa should qualify for a small bet. But there are two main reason why I decided to skip it. First one is that Barcelona does not need to win here. They can easily lose by 7 points and stay in full control in a group. Second reason is Navvaro who missed weekend but expected to play tonight. Looks that Barcelona coach rotate Navarro these days and use him only once per week to save him for the season end fresh and ready to go.
As for the total a lot will depend on Barcelona offensive game. If they will find their rhytm both team will go over 70 points, if Barcelona offense will struggle at least to average numbers I see pretty good chances for underish game here. But sill before the match my line here is 145.5 and this is not enought to pick under.
