Murcia vs Tau Ceramica
Murcia is one of the best home teams in Spain and they lost only one game to Real 2 weeks ago since April. Murcia have many experienced players and always plays until the end at home and today they will play against Tau Ceramica. Spahija's team was looking really great in the first 2 months of the season but lost 3 games in a row to CSKA, Bilbao and Zalgiris. I have seen games against CSKA and Zalgiris and in my opinion main reason is that Tau currently experience form drop down. I have not seen a team play which I used to see when watching them, and when team is not clicking on the court it's a first signs of crisis. Sure it can't continue for long time period but usually it takes at least 2-3 weeks to recover energy. So that's one of the reason why I want to back home side handicap here.
Another reason is that Murcia have very good defense and this should help them to stay close in the game. According to my calculations fair statitistical line should be 74.5-77 and it's 4.5 points lower than handicap which bookies set for this game. Tau also can play in defense but it would very hard to stop Murcia under 67 points in their arena while Murcia is not allowing opponents to score more than 73-74 points in most of their games. Even taking into account superb individual skills of Rakocevic it would be hard to score more than 76 points for Tau Ceramica. So I expect both team to score in the 70-76 points range. And such big handicap is looking too big to cover here.
Finaly third reason is that Murcia don't fear Tau. They already won against them last year and want to repeat this success again. With all key players healthy I rate their chances as 35% so my line for this game would be 2.6-1.4 but not 3.6-1.25 as some bookies have.
