Varese is much better team when they play at home. But results and table standings have too much weight in this line. Varese is at the bottom of the table but if we will take closer look into their home record we will notice that Varese experience lack of luck playing at home. Currently they have 3-5 record at home but they lost 2 games in OT and other 2 games were lost by 6 points or lower. Also they have lost only one game at home by more than 6 points to Snaidero at the start of championship. From latest team news it is worth to mention that Varese signed T.Brown (18 pts in last game against Scafati) and Lloreda is a new player today (he is known as great rebounder) to substitute injured Mate Skelin.

Roma will play without Drejer and Stefansson (out for 1 month) and this could hurt them. They played awful in their last game vs Fenerbahce and I would not be surprised to see them playing in the same way today against Varese. Roma lost 5 of 9 games away from home and only once won by more than 5 points. With Fucka and Lorbek out of form and Stefansson injured I see really hard game for Roma today.

In my opinion it's hard to predict a winner in this match but Varese chances are looking really good for me. I expect Varese to win this one in very hard match. Sure they can lose too because there is a class difference but I don't expect to see big margin here.
