 Again this crazy ULEB Cup competition,,. I don't like this competition because most of my picks based on team news and own knowledge. Here in ULEB Cup we have too much teams with too many unknown players, troubles, injuries and motivation issues. Also bookmakers are moving lines very fast and public make line more fair every 15 minutes. That's why it's hard for me to find value here.
But anyway I will provide you with some of my betting leans for ULEB Cup in this review. Maybe this would help to find better picks.

Montepaschi Siena - Benetton Treviso
Big match in Italy. Big derby. And I am really surprised seeing such high handicap for Montepaschi. Without doubt they are one of the best teams in Italy but hey - it's derby. And it is going to be very emotional match. Benetton for sure will fight for its pride with huge wish to take revenge for humiliating loss in Italian Supercup by 45 points in September. Now Benetton is completely different team with better players, better game and finally one of the best coaches in Europe. Oktay Mahmuti in my opinion is a good decision. He knows how to create new teams and how to build defense and how to win. Maybe he is not so good to lead his team into Final Four but for Benetton goals he is right decision. |

After losing 3 of 4 picks yesterday my confidence is a bit down now but anyway I must try 2 picks for today's matches. Other 3 matches in Istanbul, Barcelona and Thessaloníki don't represent any value for me so let's concentrate on 2 games and hope that Lady Luck will be with us today. |

CSKA Moscow vs Zalgiris Kaunas CSKA Moscow: Matjaz Smodis did not play in the Russian League this weekend after missing the Euroleague game against Olympiacos. As such, expect Aleksey Savrasenko and David Andersen to see their playing time extended if Smodis is still sidelined.
Zalgiris: Eurelijus Zukauskas did not fly to Moscow to face CSKA while newcomer Michael Bradley is questionable for that game, too. Marcus Brown regained his crown as the Euroleague's all-time top scorer with a 28-point effort against Olimpija .

 Honestly speaking another very hard round in ULEB Cup for betting. Most of the lines looks fair and those games where we have small advantage are quite risky to bet because we don't have enough information about teams, their styles and motivation. So be careful with your bets because ULEB Cup is one profitable leagues for bookmakers but not for punters according to my knowledge and experience. |
