Montepaschi - Napoli Napoli showing good offense in last 9 games scoring 84 points in average. Only once they scored less than 77 points and with their leaders being in good form I hardly see Montepaschi winning this game only by defense. Napoli have very good starting five and also full roster for this game. I expect to see Napoli scoring in the 74-80 range while Montepaschi against open teams usually scores at least 85 points.

Eisbaren Bremerhaven - Telekom Baskets Bonn Eisbaren appeared in very difficult situation before this match. After young center Young contract was terminated this week and Guinne injury, they left only with 3 centers to cover 4-5 positions. Also one of these centers is not experienced Alexander Zyskunov. Eisbaren still searching for a players on the market to fill all problematic positions (power forward, center and point guard) but at this moment no solutions were found. One candidate Tony Bobbitt to fill PG position is the team already but it is uknown if contract will be signed with him.

Here we are - the last day of regular Euroleague phase. I divide today's matches in 2 groups. First group consist of matches where nothing is deciding: Fenerbahce - Partizan, Roma - Roanne, AJ Milano - Le Mans. Second are matches where something could be decided: Brose - Barcelona, Cibona - Rytas and Unicaja-Efes. And finally third group consist of one game but the most interesting between Real and PAO. Today I will analyze only last 2 groups games because there is no reason to analyze unpredictable games from first group.

VS
Olympiakos vs Montepaschi Siena One of the more important Week 14 battles in Group A will take place at the Peace and Friendship Arena in Piraeus, Greece, on Wednesday when Olympiacos hosts Montepaschi Siena. Though both teams have wrapped up Top 16 berths, where they sit when the Top 16 draw is still up for grabs. Montepaschi, which enters the game in second place in the group with a 9-4 record, could still place anywhere from the top level to the third, though it depends mostly on other results. Meanwhile Olympiacos, 7-6, simply wants to avoid the fourth level of the draw and to do so must win and hope for Tau Ceramica to beat Zalgiris Kaunas in another Group A encounter on Wednesday. |
