Indiana FeverVS. Los Angeles Sparks

Indiana vs. Los Angeles

Both teams have winning ATS records (3-0 and 2-1) and these teams will play in Indiana where Sparks never had easy life. Last years games between these teams were mostly about defense and today's line ignores Sparks offensive performance (almost 87 points per game including pre season games). With C.Parker and L.Leslie on the field I can't see Los Angeles playing bad in offense. This team have too many offensive talant to score under 75 points.

Indiana was looking great in the first games but their defense is a bit overstimated. Connecticut had terrible shooting night when they scored only 18 of their 60 shots, and Washington was playing without A.Beard in first game when they lost to Indiana 53:64. Detroit scored to Fever 76 points but Shock never were offensive team. As for Indiana offense it looks really great with addition of K.Douglas. Her experience and shooting skilss adds power into this team and at home we should expect more from her and her teammates. If this team scores 71 and 73 away from home they should be able to produce at least 75-76 points at home especially against uptempo teams like Los Angeles Sparks are this year.

Bookmakers set total line at 147.5 but I expect both team to score at least 74-75 points and cover this total. My prediction is hard earned Sparks win in the of the game by 5-7 points but game total should be in the 149-155 points range at least.

Prediction: Indiana 74 - 80 Los Angeles Sparks

Pick: over 147.5 @ 1.95 PinnacleSports

Chicago SkyVS. Minnesota Lynx

Chicago vs. Minnesota

Really can't see Chicago 5-points favorites here. I see this matchup very close with some advantage on Lynx side. Minnesota have deeper bench, more offensive production and finaly impressive form if we took their OT loss to Sparks in Los Angeles in preseason game, than confident home win over Detroit and away win in Houston. I think that at this moment Minnesota are ready better for season than Chicago which never were stable and this year they lost to Seattle and won against "not-yet-ready-to-play-on-their-level" Sacramento Monarchs. Really would not be suprised with Lynx win in Chicago today. Also under could be a good choice because Chicago using hard defense on their opponents and sometimes fails to score points for few minutes.

Prediction: Chicago 72 - 76 Minnesota

Picks: Under 157, Minnesota +5.5 @ 1.95  PinnacleSports
