VS. Minnesota Lynx vs. New York LibertyAfter setting a franchise record for most points scored in their last game, the New York Liberty hope their offense can be that productive again as they begin a road-heavy stretch in their schedule. New York looks to hand the Minnesota Lynx their sixth straight loss Tuesday when the teams meet for the second time in less than two weeks, this time at the Target Center. The Liberty (6-5) have won five of seven this month, including a 105-72 victory over Phoenix on Sunday. New York is seventh among the league's 14 teams in scoring at 76.5 points per game and entered Sunday having scored just 69 points in a loss at Indiana.
Minnesota has dropped another two games since that loss to extend its skid to five following a surprising 6-1 start. The Lynx fell 72-65 Saturday at home to Houston after suffering a five-point loss the night before in Detroit.
PredictionI don't know who is going to win this game but I like the way like Liberty played in offense against Mercury. Nice ball movement, right decisions and bench support - all this shows that NY Liberty offensively is very solid team and at this moment they are on top with 78 points in average in their last 8 games. On other side we have Minnesota which is very offensive team but it had worst quarter in franchise history against Comets (but scored 59 points in next 3 quarters). Minessota also looking great on offensive end with 84 points in Detroit and only one game under 70 points against Connecticut. I think that both teams have good chances to score 78 points at least statistically it looks like this for me. I fully agree with Pinnacle total line movement from 151.5 to 155 but I think that this is a bottom-total line for this game. At least I expect to see 156-164 points game. Predicted score: Minnesota 84 - 78 New YorkPick: over 153.5 @ 1.90 Unibet.com
