VS Besiktas CT vs. Galatasaray CC Turin will be turned into a Turkish battleground for the ULEB Cup Final Eight quarterfinal showdown between Besiktas Cola Turka and Galatasaray Cafe Crown. Both clubs are not just Turkish League foes, but they are Istanbul city rivals as well. The two teams have also met twice domestically this season with the visiting side victorious both times. Galatasaray won the first match-up 75-80 in late November as Charles Gaines had 14 points to lead six Galatasaray scorers in double figures. |

Unics Kazan vs. Artland Dragons Unics is huge public favorite to win this game but I expect this game to be much closer than line suggest. According to some match reports Unics game did not work in Germany and it means that Artland against prepared very well for playoff series. Artland have 5 coaches and it's nothing strange that together they can analyze any team and prepare perfect game plan for their team. Artland won all key games this year and surprised many with a win over Triumph in first ULEB round. Now they have good chance to fight for promotion again. Sure now task looks more difficult because they must win this game (or lose it by 1 point) but with such deep roster as Artland have I think they will be ready for this game. They flight to Kazan on Sunday and this again shows how they are motivated to fight in this series. Sure those huge away losses at early stages are hard to ignore but now motivation is much higher.

BC Khimky Moscow - DKV Joventut Badalona
2 big teams meet each other in 1/8 finals. Too early stage for such big game between 2 teams worth spot in ULEB Cup final. It's very hard to predict winner for this game because Khimki is looking like a solid team especially at home but their mentality is something we should consider when talking about series outcome. Khimki don't have winning mentality in BIG games and I expect them to lose this series but series outcome will be decided in Spain in 2nd leg. As for this game in Russia I totaly agree with bookmakers opinion: Khimki is a slight favorite to win this game because of home factor and motivation. But I am not satisfied with Khimki preparation for this series. Veremeenko, Raineko, Ewing and McCarthy were hit by injuries, however only Veremeenko will not be included into roster for this game all others are ready.
