 Spain vs. France
France was one of my favorites to take title here before tournament and this is main reason why I can't miss such offer from bookmakers. They had full right to set Spain as favorites of this game because Spain have better statistics and impressed public during this tournament but in my opinion these achievements is result of playing against lower class opponents. The only top team Spain have played so far on this tournament was Russia and they lost that game.
France won 5 of 6 games here including wins against Serbia and Turkey. They lost only to Italy in first round but I think generaly France is one of the best teams here. By using hard and athletic defense they should be very tough to beat for Spain which prefers to play against fast tempo teams wich are not so athletic. However there are some reason why I must lower my confidence. First is that this game is semifinal and mentality could be a deciding factor. Another is 2 won games against Spain during preparation phase because it's not easy to win against the same opponent 3 times in a row. And finally I am not satisfied with slow starts of France, however they also shut down their opponents in second half. I expect another thriller but I rate France chances higher. I think that they are favorites to win this game and that's why I think that we have advantage over the line here. Slovakia reached semifinal by beating lower class opponents while Poland is playing at home and have better in my opinion. At least as much as I have read most coaches and experts hold Poland and Sweden main favorites to be in the Finals of U-20 European Championship Finals.
