After 2 days off it's time to place some bets. The main reason why I did not post picks during last 2 days were fair lines and holiday on U-20 Championship. Today I decided to make some picks because line looks interesting.

France vs. Turkey
France is 5.5 favourite in the line and I think it could be a good choice. France lost to Italy in first round and they should win one more game to qualify into quarterfinals. If they loss some suprises may happen and they could be out of Top-8. That's why I expect them to be seriuos and motivated in this game. They already played against Turkey 2 times 69:43 won at home and 52-56 lost in Turkey. But this game will be played on neutral ground and I rate France chances higher to win this comfortably. Especially taking into consideration that Turkey may have some seriuos roster problems.

Turkish leading scorer Caglar was substituted out with just over a minute left to play in their last game with Italy and was taken to a local hospital after the game to have her right shoulder examined. It's uknown if she will play and even with her I rate Turkey chances lower.

I expect to see France win by 8-14 points so 5.5 handicap looks pretty interesting for medium-sized bet.

Italy vs. Czech Republic
Italy is playing at home and I think that home court advantage could be deciding factor in this game. Italy showed some really respectable results in their preparation by beating Russia, Spain on home tournament so I think that this team is capable of winning against mediocre Czech Republic which won 2 close games against Latvia and Greece. Italy showed their real strength in their first game against France and now they need to prove their playoff ambitions after losing yesterday to Turkey.

I don't expect easy match here but home court should help Italy to win this game in the end.

Serbia vs Latvia
Serbia offense is very effective and I expect them to score in the 74-79 range against fast tempo Latvia. On other side latvian team will be forced to overcome tough serbian defense but they have enough forces to score at least 52-55 points. I would give here 75.5-56 line so my total expectation are a bit higher around 131.5 points.

Lithuania vs. Montegranaro
Lithuania step by step is improving their form and they must win this game if they want to achieve their goal (to be in 3-8 place battle). They have enough class to beat 2-players Montegranaro roster but I fear to bet more then low-stake on this match because Lithuania is not looking impressive here so far and their unstable game is largest risk here. But anyway 1.8 on Lithuania looks atractive at least for me because I expect Montegranaro to fight for 8-12 places.
