Croatia vs Italy

I expected to see 5.5 points handicap on Croatia because in my opinion they are slightly better team than Italy. Croatia had much stronger group with Lithuania and Greece while Italy was fighting for wins against Georgia, Turkey and Israel. Italy have better win-loss record and only because of this they are favorites of this match. At least I don't see other reasons.

Friendly game played in July showed difference between these teams: Croatia won by 26 points - 94:68. Now Croatia appeared in must win situation and I expect them to be concetrated and motivated to win this game.

Maybe you dont know that Croatia will be without 4-5 players,who play in their
win in July?

Lithuania looks good but I am not sure about isralian offense. they best
player was banned. Also lithuanians are capable to defend under
75 against poor teams however they defense is their weakest place so
far. Maybe Motejunas (u-18 MVP) addition will help them to defend better
under baskets. hard game for me.

Turkey under can't agree. ukraine
chaotic fast team while turkey comes from low-pace group.. expect high
tempo game and over.

I cant find information,but it was wroten in Croatian sport newspaper before
star of EU,that they lost 4-5 players in friendly games and they dont expect
some good result from U 20.They belived in U 18,and they won bronze.

From Croatian magazine "Bogdanovic-best scorer,PG Radic,
Milenkovic,Marinkovic and Pilepic would not take a part on EU regarding injuries
during the preparation period"
I didnt check if they played in previous
games on EU
