FC Barcelona vs Joventud Public still believes in Joventud magic because of their latest results in Europe and local competitions. I agree that Joventud did a big step this year but now their journey will end. It's not easy to be in the top form during whole season even for such deep roster as Joventud have. They were good whole season long and they already completed all their goals. They won ULEB cup, King's Cup and they qualified into Euroleague 2008/2009 as winner of Uleb Cup. But main reason why I don't believe in them today is because they can't win games on hot arenas. Sounds crazy? Let's take closer look:
@ Girona: LOST 2 times: 75:86 (-9), 80:87 (-7)
@ Pamesa: LOST lost 72:85 (-13)
@ Malaga: LOST 64:92 (-28)
@ Bilbao: WON 84:75 (+9) (but Bilbao was without 3 important players)
@ Barcelona: LOST 74:85 (-11)
@ Tau Ceramica: LOST 73:80
@ Gran Canaria: LOST 69: 75 Joventud build their brand mostly on winning 95% of home games and against weak opponents away from home in Spain and Europe. I still have many doubts about their ability to win top games away from home. Their only suprise away win for me was against Real Madrid which had bad season without cups and finals. Barcelona on other side found its form at the best possible moment. They won quite easily against Bilbao and managed to win game in Badalona. Also they still need to fight for Euroleague place which guarantees participation in Final. At home Barcelona is very difficult to beat with only 2 losses this season. Pepe Sanchez who was doubtful in Game1 should get more minutes today, Lakovic-Acker looks to be in good form and with home crowd support Barca should get another important and qualify for a win. I don't like handicap in Barca matches because they often waste 9-11 pts lead and win games in the close end. This scenario is possible today too. So I will choose Barcelona money line.
