German BBL

Padeborn - Oldenburg
Hmm... league newcomer is a 6.5-7 points favorite at home against Oldenburg which is gaining its form? Really strange line. Oldenburg is not so bad as their record is (0-5) and their last game with Koln 64-68 really impressed me, it was level game and in the end Koln won as more experienced team.

Today I see Oldenburg more confident and I think that this game should be a key one for them, they should start their table movement and this game is a good chance to start this movement. Unfortunately their leader McCon will miss this game as all previous but looks like they have found their game with him on the court.

Pick: Oldenburg +7.5

EnBW Ludwigsburg - TBB Trier
Both teams are up-tempo teams and I expect this game to end with high score about 165-175 points. Ludwigsburg played 13 of 17 last home games on over 160 points and only problem I see here is that Trier could be tired after Thursday match with Bamberg but from other side hosts will try to use this factor by increasing game tempo.

Pick: Over 160.5

Spanish ACB

Alicante - Estudiantes
Alicante will play next 4 of 5 games away and being at 2 games losing strike they will do their best against dangerous and unpredictable Estudiantes. But expect that Alicante tough defense will prevail against Estudiantes shooting performance which usually saves them in away matches.

Pick: Alicante -2

More picks to come later...

Yeah, I have Oldenburg also on my list for today!

A fan of Paderborn
told me that the team looked really tired in their loss against Ulm. Now they
have their next game against a motivated team from Oldenburg with only 2 days
rest!! The homecrowd is a big factor for Paderborn, but they sold only 900
tickets so far and their local soccer club has an important game today and lots
of people are expected to watch the soccer match. So this could be a big
factor,too.
I checked a german basketball board to check what the supporters
of both teams think about the game and really everyone(!) expects a close
game.

I'm taking the points on Oldenburg!
