We have one game in Bundesliga today, Monday is not a good day for betting usually but here I think we have a bit wrong line and I want to take it.

BG Karlsruhe - EnBW Ludwigsburg
This is a derby and I would not touch it at all if Karlsruhe would not lost most of their last season leaders during this summer. Sure they found replacements but those newcomers don't show positive results yet. Look at their last results:

BG Karlsruhe vs. USC Freiburg 100: 62
BG Karlsruhe vs. SLUC Nancy Basket 69: 89

Hansi Witsch tournament:
BG Karlsruhe vs. Telekom Baskets Bonn 62: 85
BG Karlsruhe vs. Bavarian Giants Leverkusen 70: 87

Michelin Cup:
BG Karlsruhe vs. USC Heidelberg 73: 71
BG Karlsruhe vs. KK Alpos Kemoplast Sentjur 98: 90

3 wins against poor uknown teams and 3 huge defeats vs Nancy, Boon and Bayer. And seems that team don't have defence at all and this could be a problem for them.

Ludwigsburg managed to save most of the 2005/2006 season and showed quite good results in preseason games. Especially I found interesting that they managed to beat Nance by 18 points (69-51), while French team beat Karlsruhe by 20 points.

Sure we can't expext easy for win for Ludwigsburg away from home, but todays visitors are 5-1 against Karlsruhe in last their h-2-h 6 games, and maybe psychological advantage could be a deciding factor here.

Pick: Ludwigsburg (-1) @ 1.917 PinnacleSports

this is a "no bet" for me.
at first i was on ludwigsburg, too. but this
a derby and karlsruhe expects 4000-5000 fans for this game (tomorrow's a holiday
in germany). last year nobody gave karlsruhe a chance in their season opener
against bonn, but their fans supported them and they dominated bonn for the
whole game.
i learned again this weekend that you cannot rely much on the
preseason results (berlin, strasbourg).

normally ludwigsburg should have the
advantage in this one, cause they have the better team with more scorers and
they played a pretty solid defense last year.

moneydog, I agree that we should not rely on preseason games too much, the
only thing I'm trying to take from preseason results is
general tendency. Today we won and that's great.

But I forgot to
publish bet size. It was medium stake for $500.
