Montepaschi Siena - Benetton Treviso

Big match in Italy. Big derby. And I am really surprised seeing such high handicap for Montepaschi. Without doubt they are one of the best teams in Italy but hey - it's derby. And it is going to be very emotional match. Benetton for sure will fight for its pride with huge wish to take revenge for humiliating loss in Italian Supercup by 45 points in September. Now Benetton is completely different team with better players, better game and finally one of the best coaches in Europe. Oktay Mahmuti in my opinion is a good decision. He knows how to create new teams and how to build defense and how to win. Maybe he is not so good to lead his team into Final Four but for Benetton goals he is right decision.

I expect Benetton to fight all match today and they will try to do their best to win this game. Unfortunately winning mentality is on host side as well as home court so in the 3rd or 4th quarter I expect Montepaschi to build safe advantage around 9-15 points but I think that 14.5 is simply too much here. And also I think we can expect surprise in the away win.

Solsonica Rieti - Eldo Napoli
Rieti is great home team with full roster before this match. Napoli experience many roster problems for this match. J.Tomas, Flamini and Roca are on injury list, while Riveira had only one training this week due the injury. Sure they still do have J.Jones and new signing Bernard but I have some seriuos doubts that Napoli will be able to compete against Rieti in high-scoring game as well as under boards where Rieti should dominate.

I expect Rieti to win by 7-10 points today.

Cimberio Varese - Scavolini Gruppo Spar Pesaro
Scavolini without Mayers, Clark and Fultz. Varese on 4 games losing streak and in must win situation. Varese is not stable team yet and maybe it's a bit risky to back them but I will try. Because Scavolini is having sporting form drop down these days without 3 important players (both playmakers are injrued and Luadoni 18 y.o. should play on this position today) it would be extremely hard to stop Varese in their house.
