VS San Antonio Spurs vs Phoenix Suns Key quotes from ESPN Series Breakdown The Suns traded for Shaquille O'Neal so he could help them get past the Spurs and into the NBA Finals. The idea was that he could continue to mesh with his team in the early rounds of the playoffs. The Suns rule the offensive end, leading the league in overall field goal percentage and 3-point shooting, while playing with the league's highest offensive efficiency and at the league's fastest pace. |

VS DKV Joventut vs. Akasvayu Girona
New ULEB Cup champion will be crowned and the right to play in next season's Euroleague won on Sunday when a pair of neighboring teams from Spain, DKV Joventut Badalona and Akasvayu Girona, meet in the title game at the Final Eight in Turin, Italy. The fact that Badalona and Girona are situated just an hour's drive apart in northeastern Spain and know each other so well will give the final an unusual twis - but not an unprecedented one. Teams from the same country have faced each other in continental finals before, but perhaps none of them were so close in proximity. How that familiarity affects Joventut and Akasvayu, who have played three previous games this season, will be key to the outcome on Sunday. Joventut won the first of those contests, the final of the preseasons Catalan League tournament, while the teams have traded big home wins in the Spanish League regular season.

VS Dynamo Moscow vs. Akasvayu Girona
Unfortunately I don't have time to wait when bookmakers will release odds for this game because of personal reasons but I will try to explore my point of view. For now only one bookmaker decided to release odds (www.parimatch.com) and they released 1.90-1.90 line with 149 points total and this is huge mistake IMHO. My estimations are different. I expected to see 1.40-2.70 line with -6 handicap and total around 163 points.

VS Akasvayu Girona - Unics Kazan Akasvayu Girona looks to continue its impressive ULEB Cup debut season by reaching the semifinals, but faces a massive challenge in a semifinalist from last season, Unics Kazan. Head coach Pedro Martinez's Akasvayu advanced to the quarterfinals by sweeping Hemofarm in the Last 16, winning by 9 on the road before wrapping up the series at home. The focal point for Martinez has been center Marc Gasol, who collected 19 points 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 blocks in Game 1 and played a big part in holding Hemofarm big man Vladan Vukosavljevic scoreless in the first game. Unics, which lost to eventual champion Real Madrid in the semis last year, earned a spot by beating Artland Dragons in the Last 16. Center Darjus Lavrinovic was outstanding in both games, averaging 22 points, 12 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 blocks. The talent and recent play of each team’s center sets up a mouth-watering duel between two of the finest pivotmen on the continent. |
