Latvia v FYR of Macedonia

Latvia has important missings for this match. S.Valters, Skele and Grafs are highly doubtful for this match, Jahovic awaits for protecting mask to be able to play today while K.Valters also is questionable according to esports.lv portal. With so many injuries I can't see Latvia so strong favourites against very dangerous Macedonia team. 

Macedonians have many good players. This year they added J.Massey (ex-Aris) to their roster and he is a true leader of this team now who score 20-30 points per game. Also they have experienced Gecevski, Ilievski and Stefanov. The most serious problem of Macedonian National Team is that one day before the qualifications for Eurobasket 2009. team lost Pero Blazevski. Also Pero Anticstruggles with injury while Jane Petrovski decided to leave yesterday due to obligations in Hungarian Sopron.  Experienced Pero Blazevski had important role in Macedonia during the preparation period but even without him Macedonia represents good team capable for surprises.

I expect tough interesting match of almost equal opponents. Latvia as a host side has more chances to win this game but I would not be surprised with Macedonia winning this one. However Latvia win by 3-7 points looks more realistic scenario.
