Sunday's Bronze medal game is already an injury fest. Now time will only tell if Lithuania can capitalize on Argentina's aches and pains.

Both teams find themselves playing for third place after dual heartache on Wednesday. Argentina lost to USA, 101-81. Spain was too much for Lithuania, 91-86 in semifinal competition. And come Sunday, Lithuania – who captured bronze in 200 in Sydney -may have the advantage simply because Argentina is playing nowhere near full-strength.

Argentina's Manu Ginobili went down with an injured ankle against Team USA and is apparently uncertain for the bronze medal game. Without Ginobili, Argentina will likely rely on a more physical game with forward Luis Scola in the post and perhaps Carlos Delfino on the perimeter. But Ginobili won't be the only member of Argentina portraying the role of the walking wounded. Andres Nocioni is battling right knee tendinitis which he sustained in Wednesday's quarterfinal win over Greece. He gutted it out for 10 points in 17 minutes in the loss to Team USA, yet Nocioni isn't expected to miss the contest against Lithuania.

Prediction

I think that at the end of Olympic basketball marathon the most important is fatique and Lithuania have huge advantage in this area because they have only 2 players who played over 175 minutes on this tournament While Argentina has 5 players with 170 minutes. Also they will miss Ginobili for sure and this another huge blow for them. However I can't say that -4 line have big value. It's fair line but if we consider those factors I have listed that we can say that probably we have some situational factors talking into Lithuania side.

But I don't expect things to be so easy for Lithuanians. Argentina starting five have enough class and weapons to stay in the game for long time and if Lithuania would not be able to build an early lead than this game can be decided in last minutes where Lithuania have more chances to win a game because they have deeper bench, they have more power in their legs after 7 played games and finally they are used to play those bronze medals matches.

I rate Lithuania chances to cover the handicap as pretty strong but advice you to be careful with stakes.
